Line Management Made Simple. Samson created Icaria as a technology and service solution to solve operational challenges associated with line usage and condition tracking. Our integrated technology maximizes line life, reduces operational risk, streamlines communications and improves crew safety. Icaria provides vessels with a handy line management plan that complies with mooring equipment guidelines (MEG4), TMSA, and upcoming amendments to SOLAS regulations on mooring systems management and ongoing analysis.

Testing Services

Samson's state-of-the-art innovation and testing center has a full range of fiber and rope testing equipment. Our testing equipment provides the ability to characterize tensile strength, bending and tensile fatigue, multiple forms of abrasion, dynamic drop testing, and advanced winch performance as well as a series of industry-specific tests related to rope handling and fiber testing. All of this testing supports our customer’s design and integration efforts as well as service life management and forensic investigations for products in service.
