PC GardTM
PC Gard is a tightly braided cover construction of polyester spliced onto the strength member to protect it from wear and abrasion in specific areas. It has been designed for use in applications where frequent handling and use put a premium
on rope protection and resistance to snagging.
Samson recommends PC Gard (432) made with polyester fiber if standard abrasion resistance is required. If operating in regions with extreme heat, Samson recommends TC Gard (707), made with aramid fiber. Contact Sales Support for more information.
