MEET SAMSON'S NEWEST STRINGING LINE: ML-12

This unique fiber blend offers higher performance characteristics than polyester ropes.

ML-12 will pull heavier loads, or pull the same load but store longer lengths.

ML-12 is Samson’s newest 12-strand stringing line. The unique blend of Dyneema®, high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) and Innegra™-S, a high modulus polypropylene (HMPP), gives ML-12 performance characteristics between traditional polyesters and high-performance 100% Dyneema® stringing lines.

Because ML-12 offers lighter weight and higher strength at thesame diameter as traditional polyester lines, it can be used on your existing equipment for heavier pulls. Size-for-size, ML-12 is stronger than polyester lines, making it possible to downsize the line on your equipment. You can pull the same load and store much longer lengths on the reel. You will also see reduced elongation compared to traditional polyester lines. When you need to pull a longer job or heavier load, ML-12 is the perfect powerline.

The following charts compare ML-12, size for size, with Samson's most popular polyester line, Tenex, and two of our most popular Dyneema® lines, AmSteel® and AmSteel®-Blue. These charts demonstrate that ML-12 is stronger, lighter in weight, and has reduced elongation when compared with polyester.

Test data confirms ML-12 is much stronger, lighter weight, and offers significantly reduced elastic elongation compared to polyester stringing lines.
