Ferndale, WA – February 2, 2007 – Samson, the worldwide leader in performance cordage, adds two more to its growing team with the recent hire of Craig McNamee and Kris Volpenhein. These additions coincide with Samson’s strategy to be the industry leader in technology, innovation and world-class customer service.

McNamee serves as Samson’s first Supply Chain Manager, reporting to Mark Swiackey, Vice President of Operations. "We are excited to have someone with Craig's broad background in global supply chain management joining Samson's team,” stated Swiackey, adding “He brings a strong customer focus, which will continue to strengthen Samson's leadership position in delivering the highest levels of service to the market place."

Volpenhein accepted the position of Commercial Marine Application Engineer bringing the total on Samson’s R&D team to nine. Volpenhein reports directly to Dr. Rafael Chou, Vice President of R&D, and as part of the R&D team, he will lead and participate in various R&D and commercial marine technical support projects and activities.
